New Moon in Libra: What if Rage Brings Balance?

Hekate's spinning wheel, the strophalos. Mixed-media on canvas, by Hawth Reiter.

October 10 brings a new moon in Libra. Register below for the free working.

I don't know about you, but rage has been simmering below the surface of my energy all year. From January, as I began to understand the pervasiveness of the Epstein class and their depravations and power grabs, the end-times goals of the Silicon Valley tech bros, and the utter failings of the USA's government, to now: The Cornell 57. The Heritage Foundation's vise grip on Vance and our systems. The anti-trans agenda. The continued oppression of Black and brown people, of the indigenous people whose land our ancestors stole.

When I usually think of Libra, I think of balance. Harmony. Working in concert together. Keeping the peace, at all costs. Beauty. It's giving very ... blonde-haired, blue-eyed, boomer Karen.

What if, sometimes, the scales of justice need us to be bolder? Brighter? Angrier? What if we need to express that rage? What if our rage is absolutely needed and being called for in the present moment? What if that's what the Earth is calling for, so we can restore balance?

Join me on Saturday evening, Oct. 10, at 7pm Eastern, for a new moon journey unlike any other. This night, we are going to call on Hekate Brimo, She Who Is Terrifying. We are going to ask to be in communion with her, in connection and relationship to her. We are going to invite the storm into our lives, to give us the power to stand up and say what's right. To give us the ability to create boundaries. To aid us in our quest for justice.

This is not for beginners; this working is for people who have already established a relationship with Hekate and/or other Dark Goddesses, and who understand the varied ways this energy can manifest in our lives. If you aren't ready for it, it'll knock you on your ass. Let's not get knocked on our asses, 'kay?

We need to be ready for what's to come.

Join me. Wear black, red, or white. Come prepared with a black, red, or white candle, a bowl of water, a container of earth, and whatever representation of air works for you.

Free to attend; donations always gratefully accepted.
